As a UKAS accredited certification body, NSI approves companies providing quality solutions across the security and fire sectors including :
electronic security systems - intruder alarms / burglar alarms, cctv, access control
fire detection and alarm systems

NACOSS Gold is NSI's premier scheme for electronic security systems companies wishing to meet the industry's highest standards.
Companies approved to this scheme must achieve business excellence through ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System Standard as well as achieving a long-term track record of performance and evidence of reliability and stability.

NICEIC Approved Contractor

Approved contractors undergo a rigorous assessment process , covering a representative sample of their work, their premises, documentation, equipment, and the competence of their key supervisory staff. They are then re-assessed on a regular basis to ensure continued compliance.


BAFE is an independent organisation dedicated to improving standards in fire protection. BAFE is the not for profit, registration body for Companies who achieve third party certification for their fire protection services. Companies who are registered to BAFE schemes demonstrate a commitment to service excellence.

SAFE Contractor

The safe contractor scheme is designed to review and audit the health and safety policies, procedures and documentation of contractors.
Safe Contractor qualified auditors identify whether a business has suitable and sufficient health and safety compliance to become an accredited organisation.


The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) was formed by procurement professionals and local authority health and safety teams with the support of The Health and Safety Executive to provide an approved list of contractors who qualify to a high standard of health and safety working practices.

Construction Line

Construction Line assesses applicants on their health and safety policy statement, their organisation and how it deals with health and safety and their specific health and safety arrangements. This means that everyone works to an acceptable standard.

ISO 9001:2000

ISO 9001 shows commitment to quality, customers, and a willingness to work towards improving efficiency. It demonstrates the existence of an effective quality management system that satisfies the rigours of an independent, external audit.

Waste Carrier License

Waste Carrier's Licence is a permit that is required for the transportation of waste by businesses. This was introduced by the Environment Agency.

The Gent 24 Network of Approved System Integrators are independent fire specialist companies who have been selected, trained and approved based on their extensive capabilities and considerable experience in the fire industry.

UK Fire Association
